Sarine Balian grew up in Lebanon and Los Angeles. She completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree at San Francisco State University in Jazz and World Music – Vocal Emphasis. As producer and performer under her Saucy Records label, Sarine released her first solo recording album Juxtaposed. In 2005, she published “An Airplane over our Home, my Mother” in The Village Rambler, a creative non-fiction short about her childhood in Lebanon. In 2010, “Hotel” was made available on Amazon Kindle under Short Fiction, Crime. Sarine is an MFA graduate from Otis College of Art & Design and lives in Los Angeles.
