Submissions

The Coachella Review accepts original work that is vibrant, thoughtful, and precise. Whether your work is innovative or traditional, we strive to celebrate writing that holds readers in awe.

We publish two issues a year, in June and December. We are currently open for submissions to our Summer 2022 publication. Submissions will close Friday, March 11, 2022.

We also welcome critical submissions to TCR Daily throughout the year. For book reviews, please query our reviews editor below.

Our response time is generally one to three months; simultaneous submissions are welcomed.

Guidelines

Poetry

We accept up to three poems per submission. Include all works in a single attachment. There are no restrictions on form or length. Please submit only Word documents.

TCR Daily is currently closed for creative content, but we are still open to reviews. Please query the Book Reviews Editor at tcrbookreviews@gmail.com.

We welcome creative nonfiction of all kinds. Submissions should not exceed 6,000 words. Please submit only Word documents.

Drama

We welcome dramatic writing for both stage and screen. We are interested in scripts 10-30 pages in length. Stage plays and screenplays should follow the American Standard format. Please submit only Word documents. We will also consider scripts (including excerpts) to produced short films not yet available for public consumption (film festivals are okay). Please include a link with a password in your cover letter.
