She’s hatching
from a round mountain, an egg

She was oblivious
She knew who she was, didn’t she?
When did she figure it out?
Indeed, but she did
She’ll be coming round the mountain when she’s ready
and when she is, when she does…

In one way she always was she
In another she wasn’t yet she

She who knew her name a long time before she claimed it
picked it up and wore it
rightfully hers
brightfully

She’ll be coming round the mountain when she comes
She’ll be here soon
