Things I Realized in 2002

“Go to the record store and the man behind the counter recommends several records. Realize I don’t need to date a musician in order to hear new music, although now want to start dating man behind counter.”

Things I Realized in 2002 is an animated series of epiphanies based on the McSweeney’s short story by Rome Prize winner Sarah Manguso.

Chioke Nassor is a writer/director. Most recently, he directed a series of short films starring Steve Buscemi, Gina Gershon, and Kieran Culkin, including The Gina Gershon Sex Tape (google it!). He is currently working on a tour documentary about the band TV on the Radio and is the co-creator of a web show called Titsburg! (http://www.titsburgcomedy.com). It’s about boobies. And boning. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Mr. Nassor received a BFA in film production with a minor in political science (to sound smart). He enjoys expensive vegetable juices and blatant flattery. He checks his email often (hint hint). You can see more of his work at: http://www.chiokenassor.com.
