Beats for You

Wing-Yee's first commercial piece - a music video for Swedish band Brothers of End - features a mushroom that gets overtaken by parasites then decides to fight back. 

Brothers of End is a trio formed by Mattias Areskog, Bengt Lagerberg and Lars-Olof Johansson Ståle. Bengt and Lars-Olof are also members in The Cardigans and the country cover band Up the Mountain. Mattias Areskog is a journalist and a musician and has played with Marit Bergman, Consequences and Friska Viljor among others. "Beats For You" is from the band's debut album “The End."

Wing-Yee [Vinyé] Wu was born and raised in Stockholm. She received her BFA from Central Saint Martins College in London; where she first found her interest in filmmaking. She worked in the British and Swedish Film industries before moving to the U.S. where she attended the NYU Graduate Film Department at Tisch School of the Arts. Wing-Yee is currently developing a feature length screenplay; it expands on her award-winning short film "4960."
